1. How did your journey in the fitness world begin?
I was offered a job as a trainer at the gym where I was a member when I started my career. A couple of years later, in 1998, along with 2 colleagues from the INEF (National Institute of Physical Education), we founded the company "Sport Solutions," which provided personal training services at clients' homes and in some gyms in Lleida, Spain.
2. What’s your mission at OWN?
Well, it's the same as having a shoehorn for an uncomfortable shoe: to make entry easier. And for hoteliers, making their gyms add value to their customers whilst being sustainable and easy to manage.
3. If you could could advise just one exercise to begin to feel better, which one would it be?
Moderate aerobic exercise: walking, running, swimming... for at least 30 minutes, at the same time of day, 3 times a week. Although everyone is different.
4. Tell us a myth and an unknown truth about fitness and getting in shape:
A myth: any sport is good for health.
A truth: Physical activity improves brain function.
